LONDON, August 11. The London “Daily Chronicle’s” Milan correspondent reports an incendiary campaign on an unprecedented scale is proceeding in all parts of Italy. A large military powder magazine at Snngavaslo was blown up, shaking the whole city of Florence. Some bodies were hurled a mile away. Tile death roll is net yet ascertainable. Over a hundred were sent to the hospital.

Many were wounded by falling bombs. Many persons who were on fire in the streets saved theinselves by immersion in the public fountains,

' An attempt to blow up a magazine at Mugnano, in Tuscany by setting fire to some adjacent woods, failed. Armed bands assailed the magazines at Piacenza and Catania. All were visible simultaneously.
