• Joseph ()’Doherty, a Sinn Fein Commoner has unconditionally been released from Londonderry, owing to Sinn Feiners having burned all courthouses Ip his constituency, North Donegal, to prevent trial. Constable Riidoch was shot in the right leg in the main street at Youghal County Cork, when returning at midday from church. His assailant escaped. A military patrol was attacked at Pallas Green, County Limerick. One attacker w.a s killed and others wounded.
