The monthly inglcside of the local Caledonian Society held Inst evening in the Supremo Hall was well attended. Mr H. Thompson had charge of be floor, while Chief Davidson was responsible for the comfort of the large cro vd present. During the proceedings he presented Miss Alva Mclntosh with her medals won at the sports gathering on New Year’s Day. Master Les Gibbons danced the sword dance, and later in company with little Alva danced ‘he Hghland fling. These two items showed the result of high class tuition. Miss j Davjdson was as popular as ever in a well-known Scotch song. A hearty supper was done full justice to after which d'ancing continued till midnight, when the gathering was brought ■> a close with the singing of Auld Lang Svno and the National Anthem.
