RUGBY RULES. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, July 25. The following .alterations have been made in the Rugby rules:— In Rule 11, where the player does not immediately place the ball, a scrum or free kick is awarded. ; . rn Rule 2, where a scrum is given for a breach, inside the twenty-five, if the breach is within ten yards of the touchline, a scrum takes the place of the ten yards rule in the twenty-five. After a successful try, the kick off shall be from halfway, and when a fair catch is made the catcher must take the kick.
