1 (Uur Own Correspondent.) MEDIOA/L OFFICER. A public meeting was held in the Coronation Hall on Wednesday evening lor the purpose of receiving a report from the committee recently set up for the purpose of endeavouring to secure a doctor for the district. The Mayor (S. IJ.1 J . Evans, Esq.) presided over an attendance of about 30 residents. 'The committee presented their report showing the steps taken so far, which was unanimously approved of by the meeting.
