fit tf Weather permitting the football fixtures arranged for last Saturday . will take place to-morrow. After the heavy rain of the past few days, the grounds, in any event will be heavy and wet. The fixtures arranged are as follows: On Cass Square at 1.30 p.m,, the match betwon the Grey and Hokitika District High School teams takes place for the Wrig|ht-Stephfcnson Cup. This promises to be an excellent contest. Mr Downey will be referee.

At 3 p.m. immediately on the conclusion of the school contest the senior ,ganie Diggers v. Kiwis will he played when another good game should result. .Mr Houston will control this game. The other games Ross v. Excelsiors at Ross (Mr Harker), and Kokatahi v. Kumara at Kumara (Mr Conning) should also prove interesting. The following will represent TTniteds in their final match against Marist at 10.30 to-morrow morning.— Perhani, McDonald, Macfarlane (2), Fowler, Ilerrigg, Pierson, Rutland, Hall, Heinz, Gardyne, King R., Stevenson (2) and Hickson. Emergencies: Thorpe, Jones and Renton. All players are requested to be on the ground at 10.15 o’clock.

Hills -was appointed to referee the match at Kumara in place of Mr Conning. Resolved that the Southern Division representative team play Greyinouth at Grey-on July 24th.
