At the Princess Theatre to-morrow ( Wednesday) afternoon at 2.30 o’clock, all who are interested in the literary celebrities of the day. as well as those desirous of visualising the late war as it appeared to an intelligent observer on the spot, will have an opportunity to gratify their wishes by bearing Aliss Louise Alack, the noted Australian writer, in her recital. Aliss Alack has exceptional qualifications for analysing the manifold impressions she gleaned as a traveller over Europe when it was in the grip of Armageddon, having as a journalist been trained to note the things that matter. She intends dealing with the war phase of life, in the Allied countries, and will illustrate the recital with her own moving pictures, which will be explained in detail. One feature will lie the story of the dogs of Bielgitim, and another the description of Aliss Mack’s meeting with Nurse Cavell,. and that of her trial. Aliss Mack will address the children in language suitable to their young minds, and at the conclusion a most laughable cornedv will be screened.
