POLLARD’S PICTURES. WEDNESDAY. (Frank Keenan America’s greatest character actor in “Todd of the Times” will be Pollard’s big feature on Wednesday next at the Princess Theatre. Frank Keenan plays tko leading role in this big sensational play which is produced by the Patlie Company which is a good guarantee that it is quite up to the standard, “Todd of the Times” Ips had a. big run in all the American theatres as a stage play, and the picture lias been also successfully shown everywhere. The latest Gazette, Scenic and Comedy will be the supporting pictures. On- Thursday the star attraction is “The Spark Divine” featuring the popular Alice Joyce.

HALE HAMILTON.—'TO-NIGHT. Hale Hamilton, Metro’s- newest star, appears in “ $5001) An Hour ” at the Princess Theatre to-night. Tt was as Wallingford in George Randolph Chester’s famous story dramatised for stage purposes which first hrougli Mr Hamilton into the limelight. Air Hamilton’s popularity does not lie alone in America. He is a tremendous favourite in England and Australia as well., He made his London debut at the Drury Lane Theatre with Fanny Brough in “ Sealed Orders.” He played an extensive engagement there in “ Get Rich Quick Wallingford” and it was during the run of this production that he received the unusual distinction of being requested to give a royal command performance of that farce at Windsor Castle. A splendid supporting programme, including a side-splitting comedy and a Gazette will conclude a splendid evening’s entertainment. Air AfcLoan has secured the much-talked-of serial “The Grey Seal.” This picture is said to In; even better than “ Stingaree,” or any other serials shown hi Now Zealand. Tt is now being shown at Liberty Theatre in Christchurch, and is overcrowd iiiji that theatre when screened.
