“The Rotters”, a comedy that is now in its third revival in three years at

London, will be presented at the Princess Theatre, Hokitika on Monday July sth., bj' the Allan AVilkie Special Comedy Company. “The Tatlcr” (London) says:—“l have already seen Air H. F. Alaltby’s comedy “The Rotters” three times; I enjoyed it quite as much the third time as I did when I first saw it—brilliant alike in its characterisation and its dialogue—not for one moment is the comedy dull or commonplace, it was in pursuance of Mr Allan AVilkie's policy to present only proved London sue cesses that lie has secured the Australasian rights of tlris brilliant piny. The story concerns the delinquencies of the family of Mr Clugston, a self-made illiterate man who has risen to the middleclass of provincial North of England. Clugston prides himself on the good repute of his family, and most laughable situations ensue when each member of his household, including ins chauffeur, contrives to create a scandal. A particularly capable interpretation of the play is said to be given by the Allan Wilkie Special Comedy Company which is touring in the Dominion in motor-cars supplied by the Aard Taxi Company of Napier. The box plan is at the Princess Theatre Sweet Shop.
