In the House of Commons, on a rhsolution authorising payment of expenses in connection with the Agriculture Bill Sir A. Boscowen stated that Cabinet had decided that the maximum price of home grown wheat for the 1920 harvest should remain at 95/- per quarter.' The arrangement that the maximum pric3 for 1921 would be 100 will be cancelled. Tile farmer received for home gro vn wheat an amount equal to the average C.I.F. price of imported wheat, of small-, or comparable quality. The assured guarantee for wheat was 68/-, anJ oats 46/-. He could not ostimato the probable cost, bnt the guaranteed price was well worth the cost in national interest .
