Kiwis 20, Ross 5. Excolsiora 0, Kumura 8. Diggers (i, Kokatahi 0. Grey 11, Inangahua 3. KIWIS V. ROSS. Tho southern division senior tup game Kiwi v. Ross took place on Caw Square on Saturday afternoon under perfect weather conditions. Tho game resulted in an easy win for the home team. Jn the first half the play was fairly even, Kiwis scoring 8 points to nil. Rossi scored a converted try shortly after the opening of’ the second spell and there was no further score until within a quarter of an Ijpwr of time when Kiwis backs got the upper hand and ran up a further 12 points m qluiek succession. For Kiwis, tries were scored b$ Wilson (converted by Irving), Frederick, Jones (3), and O’Connor. For Ross Moyo scored a try which 'Cherrie converted. Mr Coffining was referee. DIGGERS V. KOKATAHI. This game was played at Kokatahi when the soldier team signalised their' entry into the competition by scoring a win by 6 points (two tries) to' nil. Dowell and Wells sicored. The game was a fairly even and interesting me. Mr M. Houston was referee.

EXCELSIORS V. KUMAR.A. This game was played at Kumara, the visitors being-defeated by 8 points to nil. Kumara have a fairly heavy team and should make a good showing in the competition. E. Roberts is not available for the match, but will be able to go to Australia if selected for the tour. ENGLISH LEAGUE TEAM. N.S.AV. CRICKET SCORE. 1 SYDNEY, June 13. The Englishmen played the second match of their tour before a packed crowd at the cricket ground in fine weather. New South Wales, from the kick-off, showed that they wore the superior team, forcing the game into the visitors’ twenty-five, where, except for occasional futile dashes' on the part of the Englishmen, the hall stayed. The scores at half time were. New South Wales 21, England 2. During the second half the Englishmen played up, hut failed to reach the standard of the home team’s play.

The final 'scores were: New South Wales 42, England 6. The best scorer for New South Wales was Burge, who put up three tries and nine goals. Each of the following scored tries: — Pearce, McGowan, Gilbert, Latta, Era. ser ‘and Robinson, one try each. For England, Gronow scored three goals.
