WEDDING BELLS.
On Wednesday afternoon at St Paul’s Methodist Church, Greymoutli, a quiet ; but pretty wedding was celebrated, the contracting parties being Charles Arthur, second son of Mr C. Kaye, of Hastings, and Ellen Kane, fourth daughte of Mr and Mrs R. Williams of Puketahi street, Greymoutli. The bride who looked charming in a. wliite silk accordeon pleated dress and wore the usual veil, carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums with maiden hair fern. Miss Elizabeth Williams, a sister of. the bride, who attended liei as bridesmaid, wore a white silk dress and black saxe crepe-de-cliine hat, carrying a bouquet of white ckrysan-; themums. Mr R. Armstrong, ol Dunollie, attended as best man. •, The j wedding breakfast was held at Barker’s tea rooms, where a large number ( of friends and relatives were enteitain_ ed. The bridegroom’s present to tile bride was a gold bangle and to the bridesmaid a. brooch set with rubies and pearls. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a gold albert. The happy couple left by yesterday morning’s express on their honeymoon ti ip to Auckland.
