A QUEEN TURNED AWAY.
PARIS, April 2,.
The Queen of the Belgians , arrived ineognitia this week at Fontainebleau late at night—top late, she thought, to disturb' the domestic staff of the villa she had taken in the Rue R-oyale. So, accompanied by a. lady-in-waiting, an officer, and two maids, the Queen applied for accommodation at one of the chief Hotel’s of; the town. The manage, merit turned .her away. She tried t u other loading hotel with the same icall, in order not to sleep out in* the open, the Queen, had to awaken the staff of her villa. To-day the two hotel managers have discovered the identity of the applicants for rooms, and tl.ejr sorrow at an opportunity missed inky bo imagined.
