America’s fleet of “ Dreadnoughjb ” battleships includes 8 ships armed with 12-inch guns, and 4 ships, each armed with ten 14-inch guns. In addition to the seven ships of the Tennessee type, ten battleships and six battle-cruisers, all mounting eight 16inefci guns as their lhain armament, and the latter to have a speed of 35 knots, 1 are either under construction, or about to be laid down.)
