WELCOME HURDLES 1J miles— Gaylight L Hylans 2, Seadown 3. Won by four lengths. Time 3.15 3-5. RENOWN STEEPLECHASE, 2} miles—Maiiawaponga 1, Waimai 2, San Sebastian 3. Won by six lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time 4.53. MARLBOROUGH STAKES, 1 mile: Amythas (8.9) T Arrowsmith (9.0) 2 Karo (8.12) --. 3 Right and Left 7.3 also started.. Amythas won amidst groat enthusiasm by three lengths from the English horse, with Karo, four lengths further back in third place. Time 1.40 . ROYAL HANDICAP, H miles— Royal -Star 1, Sunart 2, KilrusTi 3. Won by a head, with two lengths'between second and third. Time 2.33 4-5. CORNWALL HANDICAP, 1} miles: Star-land 1, Will Oakland 2, Bondage 3. Won by a. length and a. half. Time 2.9. SANDRINGHAM WELTER, 5 furlongs—Silver Peak 1, Hetaua 2, Mustard Pot 3. Won by three lengths. -Time 1.12 4-5.
