ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE Messrs M. Houston and Co. report as follows: —, We held our fortnightly sale at the above yards yesterday, our yarding comprising 25 head of cattle which vieie cleared at very satisfactory prices. Owing to the short market, competition was keen, and prices took a sharp rise on recent sales.
We sold on account of Mr Jno. Anderson, 4 bullocks at £l7 10s., 4 at £ls 15s, 4 at £ls 2s 6d., 4 at £l4 15s, 3 at £l4 -2s 6d., 3 at £l3 155., 3 at £l3 10s.
