BETWEEN CARRANZA AND REVOLUTIONARIES.

(Received This Day at 10.35. a.m.) MEXICO CITY, May 13.

There are conflicting . reports frpm Vera Cruz regarding Carranza. It now appears that Carranza is fighting tlie revolutionaries at Hacenda Tamajiz, with 6,000 troops. The revolutionaries have 14,000. The battle is staged 70 miles south-east of Mexico City. The general news shows thp trend is toward a revolutionary victory.

Prince Casimir Lobumerski, the Polish Minister in United States, declares Poland is fighting Bolshevism single-handed, and will continue without asking aid of United States and the Allies. Ho says the importance of the war will be tremendous. If Poland .is crushed, tlie Bolsheviks will have united with Germany., The object of the present Polish drive is the establishment of a series of independent States, as a barrier between Poland and Bolshevist Russia.

Mr Daniels alleges that Admiral Sims introduced a cablegram in evidence before tlie Senate Naval Committee which bore Daniel’s name, but he never signed it.
