AMUSEMENTS.

POLLARDS PICTURES

TO-NIGHT. To-night in the Princess Theatre Pollards will present by arrangement with the Deception Committee, a splendid special porgrammo for children that will include a picture of the investiture of the Prince of Wales and suitable children’s pictures. THURSDAY NIGHT. On Thursday evening Pollards will present tiie first episode of the new serial “The Man of Might,” starring Wm Duncan who made such a success in “The Fighting Trail,” and Tom -Moore in the latest Goldwyn success, “A Mail and his Money.” The story of “A Man and his Money” is made thoroughly delightful through the personality of Tom. Moore, the star, and the ease with which lie portrays the hero, who at the outset is a wealthy waster. At the same time he is no fool, and recognises that his money may make one of him, so he cuts adrift from the money, and finds a job. The job is that of day nurse to a lot of of dogs, but they happen to be the property of the aunt of the one and only girl, so that accounts for his taste. The job keeps him near the girl. A strange way for a man to rehabilitate himself in the eyes of the world, and particularly the one and only girl referred to, but it gets him there all the same, as lie comes in handy for a ding dong rough and tumble with his hated rival, and the girl is present, so all’s well with the world.
