COLONIAL SUGAR COY PROFITS. SYDNEY, «May 5.

The report presented at the halfyearly meeting of the Australian section of the Colonial Sugar Coy, showed a profit of £1*59,553 and a dividend of 61 per cent and also a bonus of 4s. per share was declared. This is shown to leave £21,428 to carry forward. As regards the Fiji and Zealand section of the Company for the year ended 31st. March last, the earnings are shown as amounting to £297,783. From this £150,000 is shown as deducted for the payment of a dividend for a period up to September 30tli. last. This leaves £129, 783 of a credit balance. It was decided to pay a further dividend of six per cent absorbing £105,000. 'fliere will be a transfer of £75,000 to the “Dividend Reserve Fund.” In addition there will be carried forward £12,783.
