A very pleasant evening was spent in St. Mary’s Club Rooms last night. Both first prizes were played off for, and the lesult was; ladies first (leg mutton), Mrs O. Sumner, second (bag coal), Mrs T.'- Hcenan; gent’s first (bicycle tyre), Mr G. Howe, second (2 tins fruit), Mr M. Wood. It was an-
nounced that the tournament next week would be held on Monday night, and that a “three-course dinner for six’’ would be the prize. Both ladies and gents will play for this prize. The music for the dance last evening was kindly supplied by Misses Breeze and Bergstrom, and the light fantastic went merrily oil until midnight. The Club returns its thanks to two local business men for the donation of prizes.
