A REMARKABLE SEQUEL. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) DUBLIN, April 28. Freeman’s Journal reports the raid was a remarkable, sequel to the Mill Street-raid on 26tli. A large portion of the. money will now be returned to the banks from which it was stolen. The captors also offered to hand over the thieves but the banks replied that they were only able to deal with the Crown in such an affair. -»

The Irish Dominion League is not supporting amendments to the Home Rule Bill, because the measure is inconsistent with the fundamental features, of Dominion settlement. Lord Elamket cabled to Mr Hughes and other Dominion premiers expressing the belief that the fundamental principles of, the ‘Australian constitution were essential to Irish welfare • and protesting against the imposition, under militaristic coercion of the Rill,' exacting an oppressive annual tribute,' perpetuating partition The League relies on Australians support of Ireland’s demand for Dominion status with adequate safeguards for minorities A NEW ROLE. (Received this day at 10. So a.m.) LONDON. Anril 28. Sinn Feiners offered to hand over the hank thieves, whom tliev arrested in connection with the robbery in Mill Street cabled on the 20th. They also promised to furnish evidence. PRISON SCENES. (Received this day. at 10 35 a.m.) LONDON, April 28. Disorderly scenes continued at Wormwood Scrubhs. Over a thousand Irish sympathisers marched to the prison in military formation, and formed a cordon around the women accompanying them. A strong force of. anti-Sinn Feiners attacked the cordon with stones, clods and grass. During lie ee fights six were ipjnrftd. Sinn Feiners threaten to-morrow that their opponents shall so--Irish hoys can fight.
