By Electric Telegraph—Copy I'hith.

LONDON, April H- . The Exeuujtevo Committee of the League of Nations met at Pans and adopted four reports. The first was presented by the Belgian Ambassadoi, and related to the protection of minorities in Turkey. The Committee decided to express to the Supreme Council its approval of the disiderata recommended, and that it was disposed to enter into a compact with the Supreme Council regarding the measures to be taken to guarantee the cxecuton of the clauses designed for the protection of these lm-

noi'itics. Signor ihongafe submitted a report on 'the subject of tbe. repatriation of prisoners still in Siberia, the number i of whom is estimated at between one hundred and twenty thousand, and two hundred thousand. The Committee lias adopted a resolution under which Doctor iSarisen, the explorer, is entrusted with the task of investigating the manner in which the necessary credit may be secured. Meanwhile medical stores are being dispatched to combat the mortality that is going cm among these prisoners. A repox-t from the Spanish Ambassador relative to tbe elections in tlie Free State of Danzig, for the formation of a Constitutional Assembly was presented. It was {iec-idod to advise the High Commissioner that the election may be held, but this, however, is not to ho regarded as furnishing a precedent for the conduct of future elections. The report of Lord Robert Cecil on the protection and maintenance of the future State of Armenia showed that as the League of Nations had not the necessai'y financial and military resources for the purpose, the Supreme Council should decide how temporary financial arrangements may be secured. The Committee expresses the opinion that it would not be difficult, when this is decided to find a Power willing to accept the mandate.

ARMENIAN STATE FAVOURED. LONDON, April 11. Tt is announced in Paris that the League of Nations strongly supports the formation and maintenance of an Armenian State, hut with the co-opera-tion of another power, preferably a neutral.
