POLLARDS PICTURES.

SESSUE HAYAKAWA TO-NIGHT.

To-night (Monday) in the Princess Theatre, Pollards will present the greatest of Japanese actors Sessue Hayakawa in the latest Exhibitor’s Mutual su-per-feature, “The Temple of Dusk,” a play abounding on the most human and touching scenes. In “The Temple of Dusk” we sec Hayakawa, not as the stoical Japanese, but a creature who plays upon the human emotions into all the art of the great Maestro. Wo see him as the poet sacrificing his great ambitions and freedom to keep his plighted troth to a dead mother to look after her American little girl. At times his artistry rises to the heights of sublimiy.
