There was perfect weather yesterday for the Kumara Racing Club’s meeting until nearly fire o’clock, when a light shower fell. There was a large attendance and the course was in good order. There were good fields and some capital racing, while speculation was brisk, tho sum of £6,350 passing through the totalisator for the day as against £2417 last Faster.

Lambess the rider of Hymettius in tho Dilbnan’s Handicap, was fined £2 for failing to weigh in and an addition- ’ al £2 for offending the stipendiary steward.
