Lucernk Growing. It is eon tended by growers that lucerne growing would prove the secret of intensive farming in New Zealand, and was the right fodder to plant, especially by the returned soldiers now settling on the laud. There were wonderful prospects ahead if the whole of the light lands of the country, were cultivated with lucerne, particularly of the Grimm variety.
