The Autumn Meeting of the Masterton Racing Club was held in delightful weather, the course being in splendid order. There was a large attendance and the tote handled £23,614 10s, an increase of about £SOOO over the same meeting last year. Results: 'TRIAL STAKES.—(I) Fortune Teller (R. FLYING HANDICAP.—(2) Astinome 1, (2) Chimera and (3) Torfreda a dead heat 2. Also started: (4) Bonetter, (5) Lady General. Time 1.14 4-5. AUTUMN HANDICAP: - (2) Red Ribbon (A. Reed) 1, (1) Dainty Step 2, (4) Multnine 3 Also started: (3) Rose Wreath, (4) Wishful (ooupicd with Mu’itaine). Red Ribbon left the field on entering the straight and won easily bv two lengths.
