THURSDAY, MARCH 18th. (Before K. S 11 ' LICENSING ACT. The police charged a young man with being on licensed premises (Club Hotel) during prohibited hours. Mr Wells for defendant pleaded guilty. Convicted and discharged. M A. Henderson (Mr Murdoch) v. A. Henderson (Mr Sellers) application for maintenance order. By consent a previous maintenance was agreed to be cancelled, and application for a new order was applied for. An order for 20s per week towards the upkeep of the daughter was made.

Charitable Aid Board (Mr Park) v. J. Coyle, claim £6 ss. Judgment for j plaintiff’s with costs 13s. ( Inspector of Awards v. Kanieri Sawmill Co., (Mr Murdoch), a charge of not paying the amount of the award. The evidence showed the breach was of a nominal character. Fined 20s and costs Bs. Same v. L. Stopforth (Mr Murdoch), a charge of accepting a wage below the award °rate.—Conviction recorded, with costs ss. J E. Wade (Mr Wells) v. Joseph Parr claim £5 16s 9d.
