The “Evening Stanlard” says the Supreme Council decisions regarding economic questions recommended greatly increased supplies of raw material shall he sent to Germany. The reconstitution of German industries affects the whole of Europe, and it is the duty of the Allies to help therein. All the Allies should co-operate in restoring Belgium and North France. The economic equilibrium cannot he re-established without putting Germany and France in something like a pre-war condition to preserve their industries. The Council recommends the use of barter in countries whose currency is chaotic, and also concerted acton to stabilise exchanges * through loans and deposits of paper currency.
