In regard to the enormous increase in the price of news print paper, d was stated many newspapers were compelled to increase prices. It was foreshadowed that others would find it impossible to continue the present prices for long. An invitation was received to enrol the Union in the Australian section of the World’s Press Cor./r-ss at Sydney in October. It was tleoi ied not to enrol as an organsation. but members would be i-dt, free to take individual action. Mr G. E. Fairfax was elected Chairman.
