A delegation of Parliamentary Labourites who recently carried out a short tour of investigation in Ireland, reports denouncing the military administration in Southern Ireland. It condemns the shooting of the policemen and similar outrages, but declares that they are no part of any political organisation’s pro. gramme. The report concludes that no improvement can be expected until the problem of Ireland’s political aspirations is solved. IRISH FACTIONS. LONDON, February 29. Details are published of an attack made on Timoleague Constabulary Barracks, which shows that a band of armed men estimated at forty or eighty ■at midnight employed' firearms and bombs in a fight which'' lasted four hours. NJone of the garrison, howevpr was even injured. In the morning three dead assailants were found close to the barracks, also another who was severely wounded, and who said seven more wounded men had been removed. The assault was carried out with the usual preliminaries of road blocking and telegraph' wire cutting. The barracks adjoin the station. The assailants used railway waggons as armoured cars, which were found next da-q bullet marked.
