I AUSTRALIAN tV N.Z. CARLE ASSOCIATION./ PROPOSAL TQ CUT OUT ULSTER COUNTIES. LONDON, February 28. The “Daily Chronicle” (Jlloyd George's organ), again states £hq Home Ride Bill of the Govgspment abandons the proposal for county op r tion to vote for or against being under the Irish Parliament. The Bill instead proposes to cut- out six Ulster counties. The Labour Party is tabling in the House an amendment to the Bill in fpvour of no partition of Ireland, Thp Labour Party Delegation which visited Ireland lately in its report favours a fiiil measure of dominion self-govern-ment for Ireland, with provisions for any protection of minorities deemed necessary. The Labour scheme is for a constitutional Irish Assembly, elected on the system of proportional representation, to decide what form of selfGovernment Ireland shall have. The Labour plan proposed that the questions of defence and foreign relations be reserved to the Imperial Parliament.
AN IRISH AFFRAY. LONDON, Feb. 26. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) As a result of tfc raid on the police barracks at Timmolague,-three attackers were killed and eight wounded. No police were injured. ■
