NEW SALE YARDS
The, new stock yards recently erected at the Bold Head near the Waitaha river, are to be formally opened on Saturday, 6th March, by the County Chairman at noon. Air Bruce will also sell the' first beast, the proceeds of which are to be donated to the new wing of t io Westland Hospital. The erection of these yards mark another step m the district’s progress, and will hll a long felt want to the graziers and settlers m that extensive portion of the countiy. The entries appear in our advertising columns to-day, and are an attractive lot. Luncheon will be provided for visitors and arrangements have been made for pep-sons attending to return same afternoon to places north of Ross.
