(per PRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.] THE COAL CONFERENCE. IN AGREEMENT. AUCKLAND, Feb. 25. The Huntly Mines discussed the Conference agreement for the settlement of the Coal dispute. It is understood they expressed approval.

THE REPORTED TERMS. The 'Wellington correspondent of the “Grey Star” wired yesterday as follows:—On dit that the proposed agreement between the coal mine owners and coal miners gives the miners an increase of 25 per cent., and the wages men 30

per cent. As tile miners previously received 25 per cent increase and the wages men 30 per cent, the total in-* creases are 50 per cent., and 60 per cent, respectively. It is proposed to make the agreement a national one. It is proposed to pay shift men a flat rate of 18s. This will mean a substantial increase in the price of coal per ton.
