It lias Iteep distributed as far north as New Plymouth, and Napier, mostly for pleat and dairy industries. The General Manager of the Railways states that great difficulty is experienced in getting supplies, those obtained having to bo used in a careful manner in order to keep the services going to the best possible effect.
