The Secretary to the National War Funds Council in acknowledging the latest monthly statement of the receipts and disbursements of the Westland Patriotic Society, commends the administration for the manner in which the funds are being handled, and notes with satisfaction the pleasing manner in which soldiers assisted temporarily, repay the amounts promptly. Of advances made in this way over fifty per cent has been repaid and the War Funds Council considers this most complimentary to the men.
