ANOTHER TRAGEDY
MAN SHOOTS HIMSELF. WELLINGTON, Feb .7. A married man named Frank Fonby, aged about 48 years, a bedstead manufacturer, shot himself in the head shortly boforo-midnight last night at his residence. Dr Palmer, in response to a call, examined Fenby, and ordered his removal to the hospital, where lie was admitted in an unconscious condition about 12.30 o’clock this morning. Fenby, who has a grown-up family, seeing to lutyo imagined he was developing an attack of influenza, from which be had suffered severely during the epidemic over a, year ago, H c was much depressed, and this appears to have 1 prompted him to take his life. Fenb.V j placed the muzzle of a revolver to his ! |iead, inflicting a severe wound. I On latest inquiries his condition was reported to he critical.
