POLLARD'S PICTURES.
CHARLIE CHAPLIN ON WEDNESDAY.
Mr T. l’ollard announces tlie following presentations for Wednesday (an alteration to tlie screened notice last niglit). On Wednesday evening Pollard’s will present at tlie Princess Theatre a big four feature programme including Charlie Chaplin in “Carmen.” This is a travesty on the grand opera that has rocked the world with laughter, Edna Purvianec plays the roll of “Carmen,” and little Charlie “Chip” Monahan. The wonderful juvenile Chaplin imitator as “Bon Doze” in a Burlesque of the Chaplin Burlesque; “Carmen” supported by the juvenile Prima Donna, Janetliel Monahan, as “Carmen”, and the wonder children. The third feature is an O. Henry story; “Vanity and some (Gables” starring Wallace MacDonald and Mildred Manning. There will also be further chapters of the great serial story, “Tlie Lightning Raiders. ” On Thursday, the Ispecdal attractions will be Norma Talmadge in “Her Only Way,” and serial “House of Hate.”
