' There was a record attendance at the Now Zealand Amateur Championship Athletic meeting to-day held at the Basin Reserve. One feature bf the day was the performance of H. E. Wilson in winning the 120yds hurdles in 15 secs.

AVilson (Wellington) 1, H. C. Whyte (Wellington) 2. Time 15secs. Putting the Shot —W. Afunroe 42ft 9 in., 1. 220yds Run—G. Davidson (Auckland) 1, L. A. Troy '(Wellington) 2. Time 23secs.
Ono Milo Run—A. W. Dormer 1, M. J. Troy (Wellington) 2. Time 4.43. High Jump—E. G. Sutherland (Wellington) sft 7in., 1. Mile Walk—A- B. Sievwright (Wellington) 1. Time 7.21 3-5. Pole Vault—G. Harvey (Wellington) 10ft 6;)in., 1. 440yds Championship—Dormer (Auckland) 1, H. K. Sumptor, (Otago), 2, G. H. Lusk (Wellington) 3. Time 53 3-5 secs.
Dormer, who was never really extended, won with, about three yards to spare. Broad Jump Championship—E. G. Sutherland (Wellington) 21ft 71m., 1, A. McLeod (Canterbury) 21ft- 6ms. 2. Three Milo Championship—W. Wyeth (Wellington) 1, D. Todd (Wellington) 2. Time 16.15 3-5. It was a great finish between the two first men, Wyeth winning by a foot. 440yds Hurdle Championship—H. E. Wilson (Wellington) 1, G. A. Aiken (Wellington) 2. Time 62 2-5 secs. "Won easily. 1000yds Handicap—S.Wiron (-oyas) 1 J. Troy (10yds) 2. Time 2.49. Mon with 77 points, Auckland, with -o points, was second.
