BERLIN RIOTS. (Received this day at 8.40 a.m.) BERLIN, January 13.
Extremists summoned their supporters to make a demonstration in the Reichstag against the Industrial Councils Bill. A great croAvd assembled bearing placards and red flags. Troops in armoured cars Avith machine guns surrounded the Reichstag. The mob defied orders prohibiting their approach to the building, rushed the troops and attempted to capture . the machine guns. The troops fired killing or Avounding several. Many strikes have already occupied against the Bill, notably at Hamborn Avhere a mob invaded the ToAvn Hall and destroyed the archives. They also plundered the shops.

A Conference of Ipabour Councils is submitting a bill to Government under Avliieh the Council’s nssaimc control of the internal organisation of industry. They gh-e Government until the I,sth to accept othenvise they will call a general strike throughput Germany.
