The ex-Kaiser is calling a conference of the Hohenzollerns to discuss a place for their future residence, and also to dispose of the family properties.
PLENTY OF WOOL. NE WYORK, Jan. 12.
The “New York Times” Washington correspondent says that the War Department anounced that the United States had an option over a hundred million pounds of Australian wool at the time of the armistice, but was able to cancel over sixty million pounds of it.

Thje airmen are using a Caproni machine for the long journey. SPANISH UPHEAVAL. MADRID, January 12. There lire mutinous revolutionary movements at Barcelona and SaragossaThe Government is acting drastically. The leaders have been arrested.
A corporal and six privates were court-martialled and shot for a mutiny at Saragossa. Martial law has been declared, and military officers have been recalled from leave. Troops and gendarmes patrol Saragossa struts. The syndicalist leader, Chircca, was killed during an attack on the military barracks.
The constitutional parties in Parliament have all rallied to tlio Government after a critical debate. HOTEL MONOPOLY ENQUIRY. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) DARWIN, This Day. At the Commission of Enquiry into the Government Liquor monopoly, ColInn, supervisor of hotels, in reply, in reply to questions, stated the loss on the hotels was £I2OO to £BOO a year, despite the profits made on liquor were ninety per cent.
Other evidence given went to show that there was much discontent regarding the quality of the liquor. Some beer was colloquially known as .“kill stone dead.” Part of the hotel losses were attributed to discrepancies between the quantity forwarded and tlio quantity that eventually came into possession of the hotels. Allegedly largo quantities were stolen en route or from trucks at Darwin.
A SPANISH OUTBREAK. (Received this day at 8.40 a.m.) MADRID, January 11. During Saragossa riots, soldiers attacked the barracks and a lieutenant was killed. The outbreak was suppressed after the leaders was killed and several wounded.
KAISER’S EXTRADITION. (Received this day at 8.40 a.m.) PARIS, January 11. The instrument demanding the Kaiser’s extradition is ready for signature and will probably be sent to the Hague Cabinet during the next few days. RESUMING' RELATIONS. MINERS OBJECTION. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 11. A large element of miners in South Wales who are opposed to nationalisation are organising a demonstration. FIUME’S FUTURE. (Received This Day at 9.25 a.m.) ROME, January 11.
Italy has not joined hi the demand for the extradition from Germany of those responsible for tlio war. It is authoritatively said regarding Hon. Lloyd George’s and Signor Nitti’s interview, that Fiume’s wishes against becoming a Croatian port would be respected.
AUSTRALIAN NAVY’S BOUNDARIES.
LONDON, January 10
It is officially announced that the revised eastern'boundary of tne Australian Naval Station is as follows: Along the meridian of 160 degrees East of Greenwich from the Antarctic Circle to the Equator, with a slight extension further east about the parallel of 30 degrees South latitude. This includes New Guinea, the New Hebrides, the Solomon Islands, and the Bismark Archipelago, but excludes Fiji. The northern boundary line follows the Equator, crosses New Guinea, and then passes through Torres Straits, and the Timor Sea to the Indian Ocean.
On the west the station is hounded by the meridian of 80 degrees East longitude.
