(By Telegraph.— Special to Guardian.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Hokitika— Thompson, Boyd, Stewart Stevenson, (S.); won from Woodville and Sumner and lost to Canterbury. The greens were every keen, but local players are getting more used to them.
DELEGATES MEET. CHRISTCHURCH Jan. 12. At a meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Bowling Association to-niglit a motion to rescind the alterations to the rules carried on Saturday was, after discussion, withdrawn. On tho motion of Mr W. Coltman, i( Auckland), it was agreed that it he a recommendation to tho Council that centres have direct representation and also that expenses of delegates attending meetings bo met by centres. 7v motion was lost that tho numbei of players participating in future Dominion tournaments bo limited to such numbers as can bo accommodated on greens! fib to play on, and easily acccs, i t \ as agreed, in a recommendation to Abo Council that certain matches, such os singles, bo eliminated from tournaments*
