FIRST MEETING OF LEAGUE. ► (Received This Day at-12.25 p.m.) J WASHINGTON, Jan. 6. According to Mr Polk, Under-Secre-tary of State, when the Allies and Germany ratified peace, Mr Wilson is ready to issue the first invitation for a meetinf of the League of Nations- Mr Wilson’c view is that the American ratification in this connection is immaterial.
