THE DARWIN ENQUIRY. DARWIN, Jan. 3. At the Northern Territory Commission, Judge Ewing stated that he had read correspondence between Vestys and various persons. Without committing himself by. anything ho might say, the impression left on his mind was that Vestys were not connected with' the American Beef Trust, and also that there was no connection between Vestys and the Government officers, excepting that it was once proposed to employ Professor Gilruth (Administrator) in certain investigations.
