Although the Prince of Wales’ itinerary has not yet been arranged, the 'Australian Press Association learns he will proceed direct to Australia and then visit New Zealand and possibly South Africa when returning. It is officially announced the Prince twill visit India next winter. LINEN INDUSTRY. LONDON, December 20Efforts are' being made to introduce flaxgrowing for the linen industry in the south of Ireland. DISASTROUS FIRE. TEN DEATHS'. (Received This Day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, December 24. Another disastrous fire occurred in the office building of Newcastle, in the centre of the city. A large number of employees Including many girl clerks were trapped, and compelled to jump from a height of ninety feet into sheets held in the roadway.
