TROTTING EVENT EXTRAORDINARY.

The {secretary ox the Westland Racing Club received advice to-day that the Trotting Champion “Cathedral Chimes’’ will visit Hokitika on Tuesday, January 6th, and give a track exhibition on the Hokitika racecourse. This event will create a red letter day for this district in the annals of \Vest Coast trotting. A monster hospital benefit is being organised for the day in connection with the visit of the trotting champion.
