The “Daily Telegraph’s” Milan correspondent states the situation in Austria is so desperate that in the several provinces of Vorarlberg, Salzburg and Tyrol there is a strong agitation to break away from Austria. Vorarlbeig desires to join Switzerland, and Salzburg and Tyrol wish inclusion in Germany. Tyrolese threaten to break away forcibly declaring the Austrian republic is unable to feed the people. Ihe Tyrol Diet adopted a resolution asking Vienna to obtain from the Supreme m'il at Paris, permission from Tyrol to join the German economic system. AID FOR AUSTRIA. The Allies conferred with reference to assisting Austria and contemplate grnnting a credit to Austria on security of control of sources of revenue and organisation of supplies and transport.
