WEDDING BELLS.

GRANT-HENDERSON. The marriage of Miss Louise Mary Henderson, daughter of Mrs Henderson, and the late Mr J. J. Henderson, ' formerly of Arahura Road, to Mr Janies Grant, third son of Mr and Mrs T. Grant, Warrambool, Victoria; took place at All. Saints’ Church yesterday ' afternoon. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Dr J. E. Holloway. i The bride entered the. church to the j strains of an organ voluntary played by . Miss Michel, was given away by her j mother, and was attired in a gown of I ivory crepe de chine trimmed with j silver and pearls. She wore a long tullo j veil, in mob cap effect, held in place by j a wreath of orange blossoms. The' bride carried a bouquet of roses, the ! gift of Mrs Bevan. j The bridesmaids were Miss Fanny I . Evans, who was attired in champagne j crepe-de-chine made in tunic effect, with which was worn a leg-horn hat lined with heliotrope georgette and trimmed with heliotrope streamers, the crown of the hat being covered with autumn leaves; she carried a bouquet of rhododendrons with streamers to match; and little Miss Elsa Heinz, who wore a i dainty pale pink frock relieved with black velvet streamers and a large black j georgette hat trimmed with a wreath of j , pink roses and streamers of black velvet | J ribbon. She. carried a basket of roses. I The bridegroom was attended by Mr, j 1 T. J. Stuart as best man. After tho j ceremony Miss Michel played the wedding march. Later the party was entertained at, afternoon tea at the residence of the bride’s mother, Weld Street. Subsequently the happy couple left for Greymouth en route to Australia, where the 'honeymoon will be spent. Tho bride's going away attire consist ed of a navy mervilleaux costume with which was worn a black hat with a black feather ranching. i The happy couple were the recipients of numerous congratulatory messages, ’ while the bride received many and vnl- | 1 liable presents.
