AMUSEMENTS.

POLLAROE PICTURES. STOLEN ORDERS. The huge 8-reel Brady World producsented by Pollards, at the Princess Theatre on. next Monday evening “Stolen Orders” is acted by a great cast, beaded by June Elvidge, Kitty Gordon, Madge Evans, Carlyle Blackwell, Montagu Love and George MacQuarrie. A hair-raising fight in a dirigible, the outcome of which .is that the two men fall into the sea, is only one of the many thrilling episodes in the World-Brady super feature “Stolen Orders” to be seen at the Princess Theatre.' The heroine also falls into the water, but is rescued by" a hydroplane. Packed with adventurous exploits and breath taking escapes this one picture contains enough incident to make a couple of serials. The story is a screen version of the famous Drury Lane drama “Sealed Orders”, but is brought up to date and much improved. Scenes of massed effects are numerous in a story dealing with German machinations during the war, and special facilities were granted by the Governments of America and Italy for the successful production of a great play.

THE TE KOA SOLDIER ENTER TAINERS.

After a phenomenally successful season in Auckland, the To Koa Soldier Kntcrtniners, ■constituted by returned soldiers, will appear at the Princess Theatre bn Wednesday next. The party is composed of vocalists and elocutionists, together with light comedians, claiming a standard equal, if not above, that of any one concert party that has yet played in the Dominion. The company’s season in Auckland was marked with intense enthusiasm, the audience from night to night clamouring for return numbers. Mr Owen Pritchard, the comedian of the party, is, according to Auckland critics, in his class of work unapproachable as regards humour, while at the same time he is said to possess the happy faculty of keeping his audience, in smije's from the moment tile curtain is drawn to its ringing down.

A.tenor of note, and one enjoying all round popularity is Mr Victor Elliott, whose tenor voice is excellently suited to his choice of items. Mr Elliott is well known throughout Australia on the concert platform, and has evidently lost little of his Vocalism, despite strenuous years of active service.

The only lady in the company is Miss Winifred Birch, a comedienne whose rare fund of humour, eom'bined with daintiness and a sweet voice, have made her a favourite everywhere. Also in the To Ivoas are Mr Wally Edwards, who plays the part of a soubrette with surprising finish and colour. Mr Los Walton, whose work is mainly confined to recitative matter, and who is esteemed in his class as a front rank artist, and Mr Billy Ma.rdle, whose efforts as accompanist are stated to he equal to that of any concert pianist who has yet visited the. Domini:n. On .Thursday evening in addition to the Te Kons, tlie . Bth chapter of “The House of Hate” will ho screened.
