ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE
Messrs M. Houston and Co. report as Allows:—
The usual sale was held at the above yards yesterday. There was a smaller attendance of buyers than usual, and competition was not at till brisk, and as a consequence beef showed a decided drop on last sale. Our yarding < moprised 31 bead of cattle and 7(5 tat sheep which were disposed of as follows viz: On account of Mr M Diedrichs, 2 bu.locks at £24, 4 at £l7, 11 at £l7, 4 at £7, 1 cow £9 10s; on account of Mill. Cropper, 1 heifer £0; on account of Mr J. Finch, 3 forward steers at £8 10s. 2 at £8 15s, 2 venders at £2 2s (id, 1 at £1; on account of D .J. S. Diedrichs, 75 fat sheep at 4os, 1 heifer at 30s.
