PEACE CELEBRATIONS,

LONDON, May 17

The Peace Celebrations to be held on the third of August, include National services of thanksgiving in the Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, and St. Paul’s. Every church in the Empire will offer special prayer. On the fourth there will be a chain of bonfires from end to end of Britain, including 30,000 flares which will be visible for many miles and will last for ten mimics.

On the fifth there will be mintary and naval pageants and merchant «hipping pageants on the Thames.
